    Draped

If you read the baju kurung outfit post in which I talked a little about the Malay wedding culture, I promised that I would show you guys a picture of the beautiful bride and groom - and I'm going to deliver my promise by giving you this link to a photo of them, which you should totally check out because they're a great example of a good-looking couple.

So a week after the wedding on the bride's side - my side of the family - it was the groom's family turn to host the wedding; the theme this time was a garden wedding, so I went less traditional with my outfit and wore my darling draped caftan dress, which I last wore early last year to a different wedding.

I'll be honest; I wish I had a new outfit to wear (don't I always) but I just didn't have the time to look for an ideal alternative - but anyway I honestly adore this draped dress, primarily because it is SO comfortable on, and it's quite forgiving.

You look really lovely in your "wedding wear" kaftan Liyana. I love the scarves that you chose in the earlier wedding post (leopard print!) and this one which has a more home colored effect. I also think your little bag and the pin you've used to create a pretty drape to the kaftan are great choices.
You're right about the couple. They are quite a beautiful young couple.
Hey! This is expected on a wedding day! I think you and Shah are also a nice looking couple even when you're just attending the races!!! =)

      1. Sweet as usual, Judy <3 Thank you, thank you!
I'm glad you like the caftan. I actually prefer the leopard print scarf a whole lot more, it's one of my most favourite scarves EVER. My eyes are always drawn to leopard prints, but I've yet to find a leopard-print scarf as pretty and as durable as that one (it's 5 years old!). The caftan actually came with a rainbow brooch but sadly I seem to have misplaced it, but I'm on a personal mission to find that original brooch!
